Grants

The Interfaith Social Action Council has awarded thousands in grants each year to South Shore service organizations with an approved IRS 501(c)3, c19 designation, or a not- for- profit school or church needing funds to accomplish specific goals.

The purpose of the grants is to benefit residents of our service area bounded by the Alafia River on the North, the Hillsborough County line on the East and South, and the Tampa Bay shoreline on the West.

Online requests are accepted December 1 st thru January 31 st annually. The Council’s grants committee reviews all submissions and establishes interviews with all applicants.

Recommendations are made to the ISAC Board. The Board’s recommendations are then voted on by the Interfaith Social Action Council to determine award recipients.
